π€ Speaker 1:
Welcome to another Media Firestorm case study where it is my privilege to interview another Media Firestorm client, Leticia, on what her journey has been has been like since enrolling in the Media Firestorm program. My name is Angel Telsey. I am one of the co-founders and super excited to talk about Leticia’s journey in media firestorm today. Darling, how are you doing?
π€ Speaker 1:
Doing great. How are you?
π€ Speaker 2:
Fantastic. Fantastic. So tell our audience uh name, where you’re from, and how you serve your clients and the business that you’re in.
π€ Speaker 1:
So my name is Leticia. I’m French, but I am based in Spain. And my current business and occupation, I’m a freelance art model. Um I travel all over the world and create art with photographers.
I’m publishing books and um yeah, inspiring others is my mission. and you are you do that every every single day. Tell us a little bit about your journey in business and how you were growing your business before you before you enrolled in Media Firestorm. .
π€ Speaker 2:
So mainly my my traffic to find my clients are through social media. I do that through Instagram. 90% of the people I would say are from Instagram, from Facebook uh also and a bit from X and um Blue Sky too. I have also a YouTube channel and um that’s mainly how I get all my traffic and I try to bring them all to my mail list.
And um a lot a lot of the business happens in Instagram DMs. A lot of the bookings are made right in the DMs. Um, yeah. .
π€ Speaker 1:
Yeah. Yeah. The DM is a wonderful way to connect and move people, right? Because they don’t always, you know, follow follow every other formula. But having that conversation, I always say marketing is starting a conversation and you’ve been really really successful at that.
Since enrolling in Media Firestorm, what are some of the tools or strategies that you have have learned and implemented? Uh I have learned that uh even though I thought that I brought all my audience to my email list, I found out uh that I didn’t I found out that I missed a whole uh a whole po pool of people. Um and uh and with Jamie, we found a way to actually like automize that now. And I have all those people which I thought were going to my mail list but weren’t. And now they are uh yeah they are connected to my mail list and my mail list now is actually growing a lot.
I did not figure out that those people were not connected. Um so and those are hot people which are already like my my yeah looking at my content and engaging and liking. But yeah, I did not realize that I could access their email and I could actually connect it to my uh to my system and have them in my mail list. So that has been a really big uh like I when the day I found that out and I connected everything and automatized that part, I going like 800 new people like where to take how did I forget about those people? Um, so this was like a big a big uh yeah about months ago we figured that out. .
π€ Speaker 2:
How did you how did you end up figuring that out? Did you come to a coaching call? Did you
π€ Speaker 1:
we were like um just messaging one-on-one with Jamie and he was like, “Okay, where you get your traffic from? How do you connect your email list? like how people are how what’s your my like the system I use and how is it um automated or is it manual we we’ve been through all those questions and and then I figured that out I was like okay
π€ Speaker 2:
so the coaching um has been incredibly valuable for you and getting the support and having somebody being able to dig in and and see what’s actually happening right
π€ Speaker 1:
and he also made me realize about my conversion the traffic I never really paid attention to numbers and um and tracking the numbers so much. Um and now I’m I I pay much more attention to that. I look every day at my analytics and I’m like and yeah, trying to to see if it gets better and tweaking around,
π€ Speaker 2:
right, which I imagine makes you feel more of a successful business person knowing what to look for in those analytics.
π€ Speaker 1:
Yeah. Yeah.
π€ Speaker 2:
Yeah,
π€ Speaker 1:
definitely.
π€ Speaker 2:
How did you find us? Do you remember?
π€ Speaker 1:
Good question. Um, no, I don’t remember.
π€ Speaker 2:
Or do you remember um when when it came to enrolling, did you have any doubts about enrolling?
π€ Speaker 1:
Oh, I know. I remember now. Sorry. I do remember. I received a cold email.
π€ Speaker 2:
Okay. All right. An email. And then you booked a call and met with somebody from our sales team. Um did you know right away this was something you wanted to do get booked on podcasts or did you have any doubts about the process?
π€ Speaker 1:
I had that idea. I I did um speak on couple podcast in last few years um but I could count them on my fingers nothing big um and I I found that when I did them they did convert and it’s always something I was like well those are like working but I don’t even know how what to do I don’t have my own I don’t know how to apply to people to to podcast and I left it on the side and I never really paid attention and and took the time to dig deeper to how to apply to more. And when I received that email, I was like, “Yeah, that podcast thing.” Um, and to be honest, I’m I’m a bit in the moment now. I I’ve been doing Instagram, Facebook, and social media for like seven years with my business.
And I’m a bit like um stagnant and tired. I feel like I don’t have new people to talk to. And I I thought that yeah, starting the podcast journey could be a great way to reach new people and um and actually make new connections also with the actual podcaster. It’s really interesting.
I’m enjoying the journey now of of speaking with all the the podcasters. .
π€ Speaker 2:
What do you feel has been your biggest breakthrough or takeaway since enrolling in Media Firestorm? Uh yeah, it makes me rethink my whole business
π€ Speaker 1:
like and I’m a bit scared to be honest to take action to make big changes. Um but yeah, it a lot of questions came through of how to restructure everything and I’m still a bit like hesitating about taking those steps. Um but yeah, it’s going to be good. It’s just the beginning. So,
π€ Speaker 2:
yeah. Right. It is. It’s still new. We still have a lot of fun things that we get to do together. But so far, how would you describe the support, your experience with the support that you’ve been able to get?
π€ Speaker 1:
Oh, the support was over the top. I didn’t expect to be like almost babysitted like I feel like like from the first um the first on boarding call and then every week having uh having a one-on-one call at the beginning was so helpful understanding how to to use the whole system and uh the weekly calls uh with Jamie really really really like always a lot of value. Um, and also I love the process of the 30 day, the first 30 day and the accountability of writing like day one I’ve done that day two and seeing that you’re not alone. Everybody else in that 30day group, first 30-day group is is there.
You see like, okay, I’m doing it, they’re doing it. Okay, we’re all doing it. Let’s let’s keep going and let’s reach out to more people. Let’s write more emails.
And yeah, very good. I’m really happy with the with the full support, the community and and and the one-on-one. .
π€ Speaker 2:
I love it. Well, we love working with you and watching your success and and really you’ve been very coachable, right, to learn the process and being willing to implement and and take it step by step. So, tell again, tell our audience uh about the clients you serve, how they can connect with you and plug into your your products and services. My main my main clients are I have two clients. Uh ones are the photographers and the others are art lovers. So
π€ Speaker 1:
photographers and art lovers. Okay. Perfect.
π€ Speaker 2:
I have two clients and they can connect with me on my website. So it’s leticia.com and anywhere on social media. Leticia model.
π€ Speaker 1:
Leticia model. And that is spelled L A T I T I A model.com. l a E ti tamod.com. Well, well, Leticia, it’s been so much fun to work with you and you have a beautiful story, a beautiful brand, a beautiful message.
If you want to interview Leticia on your next podcast, make sure that you reach out to her. If you know any photographers or art lovers, she’s also a great connection for you. follow her on Instagram. Um, but make sure that you plug into her.
And Leticia, thank you so much for sharing your journey and just being willing to come on today and um, express it. If somebody asked you, would you recommend Media Firestorm, and they’re sitting on the fence about whether or not to enroll, what would you want to say to them? .
π€ Speaker 2:
