welcome back to another media Firestorm case study I’m Angel tussy and I run the media Firestorm group and we have an incredible client to introduce to you today and I apologize my throat and my voice today but Dana’s voice is intact and she’s going to sound really lovely but this is an incredible story of an incredible journey of somebody taking action and seen amazing results and I can’t wait to share that with you Dana welcome thank you so much for being with us today thank you it’s my pleasure Angel Dana give our audience just tell them a little bit of background about who you are what you do um also and where you’re from tell yeah tell us a little bit about your business and where you’re from okay so I’m from Texas I’m a fifth generation Texans so I’ll probably drop a few y’alls in there and I’m a Catholic psychotherapist and I have a private practice here in Texas in Plano and I branched out into something fantastic and fun and life-changing called Miss to Misses and I help Empower single Catholic women so they can overcome any toxic relationship patterns so they can learn how to be in a healthy happy marriage I love how you say that but what an incredible niche market I think so often people are like super General you are incredibly specific can you tell me a little bit before you join media Firestorm kind of the status of your business and your business growth and what you were using for marketing so I was doing um I was told I think erroneously that I had to do every single bit of social media that existed I constantly had to put out content and even though I was saying you know I’m drowning over here I’m I’m one person I can’t do all of that I was told it was the only way to grow my business and at the time I didn’t have my online community Miss to Misses so I was focusing on me as a public speaker and promoting my my book that’s been published and it was exhausting and it wasn’t very helpful at all I can feel you I can absolutely feel you so you joined media Firestorm what strategies or tips did you learn and start implementing well part of it was how do I really narrow down to focus on who is my ideal client and that was very painful because I wanted to throw out these different things but I needed to really make it cohesive and that’s what you and Jane helped me to do and then how do I promote myself to others how do I apply to a podcast if they don’t know me from Adam so one of my favorite things among so many great things is that cold Outreach how do I let them know I’m here to serve and help you I’m not just here to to take from you I want a partnership I want to be power Partners together and that’s been incredibly helpful and you tell like how soon until you started seeing results that things were working for you oh as soon as I started um implementing the things that y’all taught me that teach all of us it was instantaneous people responding back large podcasts that had really big followings that were in you know the top you know one five 10% they were writing back and saying I think you would be a great fit because one of my concerns at first was I’m like there’s only so many Catholic podcasts out there I’m going to run out of podcast and you’re saying do two or three a week how could I do that and Jamie said Dana if you were in a football stadium and you had the microphone and you said could all the Catholics stand up he said wouldn’t they stand up even though it’s not a Catholic event and I was like oh okay you’re so right so he helped me to be brave and reach out to people with these very unique podcasts and I think I’ve only yeah I’ve only been turned down once where they said we’re not a good fit and that’s it but they know I always tell I say you’re never going to end up on a show by accident you know it’s going to be a good fit one one way or the other and and if it’s not a good fit you want to go where you belong where you are a good fit and I’m so excited data that you’ve been able to see such amazing results which such a specific target audience that you are you are looking for and I know you’ve started a couple of new things and new offerings since um since joining media Firestorm do you want to tell us about your community yes so in my online school Community Miss to Misses I now have a two week sneak peek and they get to come in they can join our discussion boards they can watch old videos of events because I bring in experts I do video you know talks to to the ladies and I take things we have something now called the Red Flag files and so I have women that I interview and they point out these were the red flags either ones I noticed and I thought I’m just going to ignore them they’ll get better or I didn’t know at the time was a red flag because I think if my clients can have more exposure to specific situations then if it happens to them they’re going to say oh that’s the same thing that happened to let’s say Jane do but the two we sneak peek is so much fun and they have access to the first of my three pillars so they can really get into the classroom and start diving in deeply and that they’re interested in joining our community of course then they have full access to everything I love that I love that you had a little sneak peek in fact somebody just asked me the other day can I get a sneak peek I’m like no we don’t do a sneak peek oh but Dana does so that’s a great idea do you remember how did you hear about media Firestorm so I was interviewed on your podcast by Britney and she was such a good interviewer and as we’re talking and we finish up and off of the recording she says I you know I really think you need to meet my boss and I was like okay and so I thought why why not let’s see what this is about and as was always speaking with Jamie your partner he just he was just exploding my mind because all the things I said before about it’s too much for me to constantly be on social media 247 he explained how I didn’t have to do that and I thought okay you’re my new [Laughter] guy it does yeah I think um and especially even more every time I see they’re like you’ve got to be posting two and three times a day I I saw something here’s how I make three videos a day and post three times a day it is it is nice to have something that is a little bit a lot more manageable I think um and so productive and and to really see to really see the results did you have any doubts or fears about enrolling in media Firestorm one of my doubts was is just is this just the next thing because I’ve been told you need to do this and the next person tell me I need to do this so I researched you guys right I checked like Better Business Bureau that sort of thing and I actually took the contract and sent it to our attorney and said yes I paid her I’m like could you review this because to me I don’t think I’m signing my life away but I want to make sure because once you put your name on it you don’t get to go back and say uh I don’t believe that and she said Dana this is on the up and up and I thought I’m all in at that point I love that I love that we just enrolled um you know hired a new a new sales team today um to new sales um specialist today and I’m like we we are in Integrity like we want this to be a great fit for everybody um you know they trust us you know to to do what we say we’re going to do we absolutely want to deliver so I didn’t know you did all that background research on us like good to know we passed the test yep you did I love that Dana is there anything else like what else what else do we want to make sure that we cover today about you and your process or or um any of the other successes or results you want to share was there anything else well yes just that it’s so lovely that y’all have helped me to come up with this cohesive approach to what I do so even though I’m the expert in my field y’all are the expert on how do I get that information to people and how do you set up a school because I’d never done you know School Skol I’d never done that before so how do you do it and how do you not go overboard and so at times I would find myself going down a bunny trail and you or Jamie would be like come back to Center like girl you’re going here you don’t need to be in the weeds come back here okay and I don’t know that’s you know having add or just trying to I’m so used to being that one person band and it’s so helpful to be able to in the community share because it was actually one of the members that helped me to come up with the name Miss to Misses I I love the community aspect when we we first started using school as our community platform it was so that you had have access to all of the resources the calendar like everything was in place but we have discovered right there’s a community aspect and you all do support each other and cheer each other on and and brainstorm and so I am really I am really loving that so now Dana what do you feel um well you’ve actually shared a lot of this if but what do you feel now that you can do like what do you think your business is going to do now that You’ um taken advantage of the the system that is Media Firestorm what is that going to do for your business well it’s working and I just launched my community on November 4th so just you know a few months ago and to already see that for me for these women the healing taking place the AHA moments happening and even watching Jamie where he would have certain post he’s like hey I’m about to give you this really you know this Insider nugget and then he saves them in the classroom so like if you need to go back and find them you have to scroll through all these you know discussion posts and so I have my own version of that I call it the secret sauce and every time I go to it I think about Jamie and how he gave us inside our nugget so to see these women grabbing on to these um different aspects of healing and to have their faith deepen is such a beautiful thing that even as I say that to you right now I have Holy Spirit Goosebumps so you know thank you Lord for the blessings and I thank him for you guys because you’re the one who gave me essentially the vehicle to deliver the goods that’s how I see it and without y’all I wouldn’t be where I am today and it’s just the group is growing and I’m just so proud of everyone and I just am so grateful to y’all oh my gosh Dana well it goes both ways like we adore you we you just you light us up whenever we see your post and what you’re doing and yeah we’re super excited and so honored to be able to share your story here on this case steady call what would you tell someone who is unsure they’re on the fence about whether or not they should enroll in media Firestorm to do it because I don’t care what your topic is mine is helping women go from an insecure to secure attachment if it is you know there are people in the group that do art right all these different creative things and just go for it because this is your chance and y’all stay on top of what’s the latest and greatest oh what’s the research shows so y’all don’t just say hey here’s an idea I’m just going to throw it at you eh try it y’all explain this many people are doing this and this is why it works this is what the research shows and y’all are so On Target so if you want to get out of wherever you are stuck media Firestorm
