So Debbie, tell me your story about about the emailing piece and how you’ve had people come out of the woodwork and you can just you can just kind of start with the fact that you didn’t have a list.
π€ Speaker 1:
Yeah. Okay. So I I did not have a list, but I had over 3,000 LinkedIn contacts and so I downloaded my LinkedIn contacts which uh many of them are friends over the years and years and years. And of course, the first one of the first email marketing campaigns that you do is the remember me.
And that was email number one. And of course, they were coming through remember me. Well, of course I do. And then there would be lots of conversation about, you know, remember this or what we did or um and I I had a great story, by the way, when um when the guy from who used to be with Fiji Water sent me a response to one of my emails and he said, “Yes, Queen of Beverages is absolutely correct because you are you you helped me get Fiji into 7-Eleven And it’s a great story.
It’s part of my it’s part of my course. It’s part of my book about product differentiation. And then just a couple of days ago, a person sent me a note saying, “I love love love your emails. I met you about eight years ago and I just love love love your emails.” Because they’ve got much more educational and yet storytelling at the same time.
So that’s been really rewarding.
