I hired the needest.com team to get me booked on more podcasts because I wanted to build credibility in the space, but they have done so much more than that. Within the first 30 days of working together, not only have they got me booked on multiple podcasts with hundreds of thousands of monthly downloads, but they’ve done the more important work of helping us optimize our email list and develop a killer high ticket offer.

So before working with them, I had an email list of 140,000 customers, like paying customers who had bought our low ticket product for around $100. That was our current lifetime value on these customers.

And since working together, really, I think Jamie lit the fire under my ass to push really hard to get this high ticket offer out and to start sending emails and to really just like launch it. And so about 3 weeks into working with them, we’ve launched the product.

We have made $200,000 on that launch and have now switched into a evergreen sales model and I’m booking calls consistently. My calendar is filling up and I’m closing soon going to be five figures every single day.

And this is all within the first like 30 days of working together. So I have already it’s far exceeded my expectations.

And uh if you’re on the fence and hesitant to work with them, I would say you should definitely do it because every single day you’re wasting is revenue that is going down the drain.

🎤 Speaker 1:

welcome back to another media Firestorm case study where I have an incredible new client to introduce you to Amanda Hinman has just finished her first 30 days with media Firestorm and I’m just really excited to learn more about what she’s been doing um where she was before she came into media Firestorm and what this means for her business going forward Amanda thanks for being

with us today yes thanks angel angel I’m excited to share hi you know what I’ve been watching your progress in inside of our member portal you’ve been checking in Daily which is incredibly exciting but let’s go back let’s just get a little bit of introduction tell us where you’re from and tell us a little bit about your business yeah

definitely I am just located just outside of Chicago Illinois and I specialize in helping women over 40 to optimize their Hormone Health by increasing their energy improving their mood and releasing weight permanently and um I knew I wanted to get my message out in a bigger way because last year at the end of the year I released my bestselling book the thyroid hormone

solution and it was okay how can I continue to share this um and continue to you know bring this impact to more and more women well it is timely for me for sure that is the stage of life that I’m in and and I love that there’s more conversations that it’s becoming more normal to have the conversation about hormones

and menopause and thyroid like all of that is becoming a little bit more common place so how long have you been in business I know you just published your book last year but give us a little backstory how long have you been in this space definitely well I I’ve been serving clients and supporting women for about 10 years now

and prior to that I do feel like it was like a Divine redirection that led me to the world of Health I’d always been interested in health and was a group fitness instructor kind of on the side and you know a nutrition fanatic um but I was a CP out of college so

like an accountant by trade and then through my own autoimmune diagnosis and later my daughter’s Health crisis I mean she was she was to the point when she was eight years old she had really extreme anxiety and was having anywhere from 10 to 15 seizures in a day and at that point it kind of hit me like

a ton of bricks of like okay there has to be more than just we manage this with medication she’ll never be able to drive a car I have an autoimmune condition I’ll have to be in medication for Life there has be more that I’m not understanding so that’s when I went back to school to study Functional Medicine Science and

really get to the root cause and and know how the body’s interconnected systems work and how to rebuild Health handedly speaking so was able to rebuild my daughter’s health and my own health and that’s what inspired me to get into the the world of Health Consulting and help other women well when Mama Bear comes out right

you’re like I I will figure this out I might not have done it for myself but I will will figure this out for my baby for sure so what made you think like you’ve got the book you’ve now got this message you’ve got this impact this Divine Direction what made you think podcasting was going to be a direction for you and

a and a tool to use it works really well for my lifestyle I do have four daughters and my husband we have a full life and a full schedule and I knew speaking was something that I enjoy and it’s a great way to get the message out in a bigger way yet I was looking for something that would require

me to be on the road and travel as much as I have in the past so looking for Avenues to have um accessible speaking on a regular basis podcasting fit the bell and it was it was perfect it was a great alignment yeah you are my sister in this space same thing right I’d been traveling as a speaker and

was just ready to you know kind of put the suitcase away and how could I still have the same impact and access and podcasting has been absolutely strategic for me so enrolled in media firestorm helping you get booked on podcast teaching you the media Firestorm strategy what are some things that you put in in the last 30 days um

some different things that you’ve been using and implementing over the last 30 days the one of the biggest thing I mean in addition to having more podcasts being recorded I mean in month it’s been one month and I’ve recorded six so it’s like just that consistency of of getting in front of new audience has been helpful but

the other key piece is the email a day I was emailing my list regularly twice a week actually but not as overt and direct with call to action to work with me and apply now here’s how I can help you and so just starting to do that every single day has been a step up in terms of really honestly

seeking clients people who are ready willing and able to invest in their health Now isn’t that funny like we go out and we do all this surveying we let we wrote the book we’re speaking we’re sharing we’re giving but we never take that next step to say come work with me we just think oh they’re gonna figure it out they’re gonna say that but

so taking that next step and actually saying here we’re open for business can be it it doesn’t seem like it’s rocket science but it does it does make such a big impact consistently getting booked on podcast congratulations six already in your first month um that’s a that’s I mean that’s Game Changer six new audiences six new hosts that you’re building relationships with and

that’s just in just in your first month so um so got booked on six podcast sent emails every day what kind of results have you seen so from the emails um that I’ve been sending over the last 30 days I’ve had 11 what I call like get acquainted conversations sales enrollment conversations and

I do have a sales process where if somebody implies and wants to learn more about how I support women then we book a schedule a call together and I have them watch a kind of a little introduction video talking kind of like like media Firestorm does talking walking through what is my process so

they have some kind of context and background um so of the 11 calls that were booked um let’s see oh no I’m sorry 12 were booked 11 occurred and took place and I’ve had six enrollments um new six new clients and then two renewal clients from people that I had been working with that are going to continue to work um

so that’s a total of 27,000 750 in new Revenue in the last 30 days in comparison to what you were doing before is that more or less it is more it is the time of year where a lot of people tend to think about health right January is a time of year what timely and it was very it was it was the end of December into January

um so it it’s been more the biggest thing for me what has been more steady calls booked like weekly people getting on my calendar and I know that if it’s you know once it’s somebody who’s been exposed to me who’s heard me and consumed some of the you know way that I approach it and

the way that I support clients that there’s a high conversion rate so it’s just a matter of like getting more of those conversations to happen right you know when I first started doing the daily emails my first 30 days Amanda we enrolled six clients also um and I think we did about $188,000 in cash extra that month and

it is more consistent versus I go and I speak and I would sell you know I’d have an event or you know it was inconsistent if I did an event or I did a speaking I would I I would enroll clients but this gave me a steady a steady stream of clients and it was more I could actually

create a budget around it more more likely and you’re right the the more often we have sales calls the more often we will en enroll clients so um anything else you wanted to share as far as a result or a success story that you’ve had yeah I think one other thing that has been helpful is I I I started this

process last year but I think the combination of the email a day and I do a lot of stories in my I was again getting more direct in my story um conversations and call the action so like posting reals and posting information on social media but then in the daily stories specifically saying DM me or apply now

to work with me and being more overt about it I love it I love what you’re doing I’m loving seeing the result and the growth in your business can you go back do you remember how you found us honestly it was I believe it was a colleague of mine who jumped into the Facebook group The need a guest Facebook and

she’s like oh she’s like I don’t you have a book coming out and may want to think about this because this is a whole bunch of podcast people and that was last year maybe in October September October and I hadn’t um I hadn’t had time to really plug in I just hadn’t prioritized plugging into the group and

really getting acclimated but it was through the daily emails and there was a daily email that somehow caught my attention of like Get booked on 50 podcast or 60 podcast or whatever it was in next year and that’s when I thought like after my book had launched I was like huh that would be a really useful way it was it was the Simplicity of the strategy in

the guarantee of get X number on podcasts in the next year that seemed like the natural progression from the book launching and now let’s continue to get the word out about it did you have any fears about enrolling with us um I think my biggest hesitation and I actually talked to Jamie about this a lot is if I’m doing all of these podcasts usually it’s like

the cross promotion of how am I going to stay true to my message of being clear of what I’m offering if I’m always promoting every podcast that I’m on right so that was kind of like how does that not muddy the waters with what you’re sharing with your audience and uh the solution that Jamie shared with me which I thought was like

that’s actually really intuitive or really like creative is to set up a once a week podcast like email sequence where it’s like once a week every Sunday they’re going to get the emails with the podcast that I’ve appeared on and that’s just like nurture for people that come into my sphere my ecosystem and they can continue to tune in when they want to but

I was like oh that makes it a way where it feels sustainable and not overwhelming to the audience with the message yeah I agree with you email fatigue can be a real thing if I’m constantly promoting in fact that was the only kind of emails I was sending before was I was on this show I’m GNA be on a summit here’s the three emails I need to

send for the summit and so we use our weekends right to send out kind of the extra right so it is a great is a great Cadence here’s all the shows I was on and then making yeah making it kind of a Sunday playlist like here here’s your playlist for the week to go and and listen and

your message in every one of them every every interview that you do even though the topic is the same the the conversation and the dialogue shifts based on the host um questions and their experience so even though we share the same message the conversation is always unique and different and that’s one of the things I love about being a podcast guest um

okay so now right we’re 30 days in you know now we’re seeing some some system some consistency how does that make you feel I mean I definitely feel more um solid and stable in the business than I have in a long time so it’s good yeah happy about it right what positive impact so

you feeling that way what impact does that have on your business on your family on those around have amazingli I get to work with I like I said these new women that have stepped in are so fun and I’m so jazzed and excited to see them create transformation in their health and

their life and that has a ripple effect I know that every single woman that I get to support has dramatic changes in her energy level which affects how she shows up for her family which affects how she shows up in her career and it’s just profound like I see genuine like best time quarter ever in my business because

I am on fire with creativity and I am on fire with excitement and enthusiasm I see women who’ve like reconnected and improved relationships with their children because in the past they were just so fatigued and so drained that you know it was easy to kind of get irritated and have um

Snappy dialogue and that type of stuff so now it’s literally that’s what excites me is seeing these women that get to change their lives well what a perfect segue for me to ask how do we connect with you women who want to change their lives what um what’s the best way for them to reach out to you and

um how do they get started yeah well one of the first things I always suggest forone to do is to get to know what’s going on in their body because your hormones are the messenger molecules in the body they give you cues and clues about where to lean in what to pay attention to so

that you can continue to have many more Decades of you know vitality and energy and creativity so um one of the gifts I’d like to share with your audience is my free hormone assessment and this is a quick checklist you can go through some of the most common symptoms and

it kind of points you in the direction of is this likely an imbalance in thyroid hormone is it perhaps an imbalance in insulin so we look at the top six Metabolic hormones and based on your symptom experience or profile if you will it guides you to know oh where where should I kind of be tuning in do

I have really low cortisol or is it likely that it’s too much csol too much you know so it kind of gives you an inside glimpse of what your body is signaling to you that sounds fascinating how do we find it so I’ll share with you I can give you the link to put in the show notes but

if you go to Henman holistic.com you can scroll and see at the about the middle of the page the take the free hormone assessment and receive it there got it Hinman holistic.com right for Amanda Hinman I love it and yeah we’ll put the the link in the show the show links um

show notes as well Amanda if someone is unsure about you know enrolling in media Firestorm if getting booked on podcast if growing their business through podcasting guesting is a great fit for them what would you say to them I would say if you have something that you believe like passionately about and you want to make a bigger difference this is creating a sustainable way to continue to

expand your reach and be in conversation with more prospects to work with you I love it so would you would you recommend media Firestorm to others on a scale from one to 10 right yeah on a scale of one or 10 I think I I I to me it’s been a I’ve already more than made the investment back so

I would say definitely a 10 if if you’re ready and willing to do the things well Amanda again we are just super excited for your results for the progress getting your message out even more um and just really what you’re doing to create a legacy what you’re The Story You’re sharing and the impact that you’re that you’re making in the world is is really valuable it’s really

important and we’re so glad that we could be a part of that thanks for being our guest today go to get that free hormone assessment with Amanda Hinman holistic.com we will put the link in the show notes um Amanda anything else you wanted to say before we before we close this off today no it’s been great angel I just I I really appreciate the way that you

and your team are checking in and you know really supportive to allow all of your clients to succeed well thank you thank you so much well this has been another case study with an amazing result with Amanda Hinman truly check her out follow her buy her book check out that free assessment and

you know somebody who probably needs to take that free assessment as well so you know be a giver share the love and I’ll see you on the next case study cheers everybody bye bye bye

welcome back to another media Firestorm case study where I have an incredible new client to introduce you to Amanda Hinman has just finished her first 30 days with media Firestorm and I’m just really excited to learn more about what she’s been doing um where she was before she came into media Firestorm and what this means for her business going forward Amanda thanks for being

with us today yes thanks angel angel I’m excited to share hi you know what I’ve been watching your progress in inside of our member portal you’ve been checking in Daily which is incredibly exciting but let’s go back let’s just get a little bit of introduction tell us where you’re from and tell us a little bit about your business yeah

definitely I am just located just outside of Chicago Illinois and I specialize in helping women over 40 to optimize their Hormone Health by increasing their energy improving their mood and releasing weight permanently and um I knew I wanted to get my message out in a bigger way because last year at the end of the year I released my bestselling book the thyroid hormone

solution and it was okay how can I continue to share this um and continue to you know bring this impact to more and more women well it is timely for me for sure that is the stage of life that I’m in and and I love that there’s more conversations that it’s becoming more normal to have the conversation about hormones

and menopause and thyroid like all of that is becoming a little bit more common place so how long have you been in business I know you just published your book last year but give us a little backstory how long have you been in this space definitely well I I’ve been serving clients and supporting women for about 10 years now

and prior to that I do feel like it was like a Divine redirection that led me to the world of Health I’d always been interested in health and was a group fitness instructor kind of on the side and you know a nutrition fanatic um but I was a CP out of college so

like an accountant by trade and then through my own autoimmune diagnosis and later my daughter’s Health crisis I mean she was she was to the point when she was eight years old she had really extreme anxiety and was having anywhere from 10 to 15 seizures in a day and at that point it kind of hit me like

a ton of bricks of like okay there has to be more than just we manage this with medication she’ll never be able to drive a car I have an autoimmune condition I’ll have to be in medication for Life there has be more that I’m not understanding so that’s when I went back to school to study Functional Medicine Science and

really get to the root cause and and know how the body’s interconnected systems work and how to rebuild Health handedly speaking so was able to rebuild my daughter’s health and my own health and that’s what inspired me to get into the the world of Health Consulting and help other women well when Mama Bear comes out right

you’re like I I will figure this out I might not have done it for myself but I will will figure this out for my baby for sure so what made you think like you’ve got the book you’ve now got this message you’ve got this impact this Divine Direction what made you think podcasting was going to be a direction for you and

a and a tool to use it works really well for my lifestyle I do have four daughters and my husband we have a full life and a full schedule and I knew speaking was something that I enjoy and it’s a great way to get the message out in a bigger way yet I was looking for something that would require

me to be on the road and travel as much as I have in the past so looking for Avenues to have um accessible speaking on a regular basis podcasting fit the bell and it was it was perfect it was a great alignment yeah you are my sister in this space same thing right I’d been traveling as a speaker and

was just ready to you know kind of put the suitcase away and how could I still have the same impact and access and podcasting has been absolutely strategic for me so enrolled in media firestorm helping you get booked on podcast teaching you the media Firestorm strategy what are some things that you put in in the last 30 days um

some different things that you’ve been using and implementing over the last 30 days the one of the biggest thing I mean in addition to having more podcasts being recorded I mean in month it’s been one month and I’ve recorded six so it’s like just that consistency of of getting in front of new audience has been helpful but

the other key piece is the email a day I was emailing my list regularly twice a week actually but not as overt and direct with call to action to work with me and apply now here’s how I can help you and so just starting to do that every single day has been a step up in terms of really honestly

seeking clients people who are ready willing and able to invest in their health Now isn’t that funny like we go out and we do all this surveying we let we wrote the book we’re speaking we’re sharing we’re giving but we never take that next step to say come work with me we just think oh they’re gonna figure it out they’re gonna say that but

so taking that next step and actually saying here we’re open for business can be it it doesn’t seem like it’s rocket science but it does it does make such a big impact consistently getting booked on podcast congratulations six already in your first month um that’s a that’s I mean that’s Game Changer six new audiences six new hosts that you’re building relationships with and

that’s just in just in your first month so um so got booked on six podcast sent emails every day what kind of results have you seen so from the emails um that I’ve been sending over the last 30 days I’ve had 11 what I call like get acquainted conversations sales enrollment conversations and

I have really low cortisol or is it likely that it’s too much csol too much you know so it kind of gives you an inside glimpse of what your body is signaling to you that sounds fascinating how do we find it so I’ll share with you I can give you the link to put in the show notes but

welcome back to another media Firestorm case study where I have an incredible new client to introduce you to Amanda Hinman has just finished her first 30 days with media Firestorm and I’m just really excited to learn more about what she’s been doing um where she was before she came into media Firestorm and what this means for her business going forward Amanda thanks for being

with us today yes thanks angel angel I’m excited to share hi you know what I’ve been watching your progress in inside of our member portal you’ve been checking in Daily which is incredibly exciting but let’s go back let’s just get a little bit of introduction tell us where you’re from and tell us a little bit about your business yeah

definitely I am just located just outside of Chicago Illinois and I specialize in helping women over 40 to optimize their Hormone Health by increasing their energy improving their mood and releasing weight permanently and um I knew I wanted to get my message out in a bigger way because last year at the end of the year I released my bestselling book the thyroid hormone

solution and it was okay how can I continue to share this um and continue to you know bring this impact to more and more women well it is timely for me for sure that is the stage of life that I’m in and and I love that there’s more conversations that it’s becoming more normal to have the conversation about hormones

and menopause and thyroid like all of that is becoming a little bit more common place so how long have you been in business I know you just published your book last year but give us a little backstory how long have you been in this space definitely well I I’ve been serving clients and supporting women for about 10 years now

and prior to that I do feel like it was like a Divine redirection that led me to the world of Health I’d always been interested in health and was a group fitness instructor kind of on the side and you know a nutrition fanatic um but I was a CP out of college so

like an accountant by trade and then through my own autoimmune diagnosis and later my daughter’s Health crisis I mean she was she was to the point when she was eight years old she had really extreme anxiety and was having anywhere from 10 to 15 seizures in a day and at that point it kind of hit me like

a ton of bricks of like okay there has to be more than just we manage this with medication she’ll never be able to drive a car I have an autoimmune condition I’ll have to be in medication for Life there has be more that I’m not understanding so that’s when I went back to school to study Functional Medicine Science and

really get to the root cause and and know how the body’s interconnected systems work and how to rebuild Health handedly speaking so was able to rebuild my daughter’s health and my own health and that’s what inspired me to get into the the world of Health Consulting and help other women well when Mama Bear comes out right

you’re like I I will figure this out I might not have done it for myself but I will will figure this out for my baby for sure so what made you think like you’ve got the book you’ve now got this message you’ve got this impact this Divine Direction what made you think podcasting was going to be a direction for you and

a and a tool to use it works really well for my lifestyle I do have four daughters and my husband we have a full life and a full schedule and I knew speaking was something that I enjoy and it’s a great way to get the message out in a bigger way yet I was looking for something that would require

me to be on the road and travel as much as I have in the past so looking for Avenues to have um accessible speaking on a regular basis podcasting fit the bell and it was it was perfect it was a great alignment yeah you are my sister in this space same thing right I’d been traveling as a speaker and

was just ready to you know kind of put the suitcase away and how could I still have the same impact and access and podcasting has been absolutely strategic for me so enrolled in media firestorm helping you get booked on podcast teaching you the media Firestorm strategy what are some things that you put in in the last 30 days um

some different things that you’ve been using and implementing over the last 30 days the one of the biggest thing I mean in addition to having more podcasts being recorded I mean in month it’s been one month and I’ve recorded six so it’s like just that consistency of of getting in front of new audience has been helpful but

the other key piece is the email a day I was emailing my list regularly twice a week actually but not as overt and direct with call to action to work with me and apply now here’s how I can help you and so just starting to do that every single day has been a step up in terms of really honestly

seeking clients people who are ready willing and able to invest in their health Now isn’t that funny like we go out and we do all this surveying we let we wrote the book we’re speaking we’re sharing we’re giving but we never take that next step to say come work with me we just think oh they’re gonna figure it out they’re gonna say that but

so taking that next step and actually saying here we’re open for business can be it it doesn’t seem like it’s rocket science but it does it does make such a big impact consistently getting booked on podcast congratulations six already in your first month um that’s a that’s I mean that’s Game Changer six new audiences six new hosts that you’re building relationships with and

that’s just in just in your first month so um so got booked on six podcast sent emails every day what kind of results have you seen so from the emails um that I’ve been sending over the last 30 days I’ve had 11 what I call like get acquainted conversations sales enrollment conversations and

I would say definitely a 10 if if you’re ready and willing to do the things well Amanda again we are just super excited for your results for the progress getting your message out even more um and just really what you’re doing to create a legacy what you’re The Story You’re sharing and the impact that you’re that you’re making in the world is is really valuable it’s really

important and we’re so glad that we could be a part of that thanks for being our guest today go to get that free hormone assessment with Amanda Hinman holistic.com we will put the link in the show notes um Amanda anything else you wanted to say before we before we close this off today no it’s been great angel I just I I really appreciate the way that you

and your team are checking in and you know really supportive to allow all of your clients to succeed well thank you thank you so much well this has been another case study with an amazing result with Amanda Hinman truly check her out follow her buy her book check out that free assessment and

you know somebody who probably needs to take that free assessment as well so you know be a giver share the love and I’ll see you on the next case study cheers everybody bye bye bye

like an accountant by trade and then through my own autoimmune diagnosis and later my daughter’s Health crisis I mean she was she was to the point when she was eight years old she had really extreme anxiety and was having anywhere from 10 to 15 seizures in a day and at that point it kind of hit me like

a ton of bricks of like okay there has to be more than just we manage this with medication she’ll never be able to drive a car I have an autoimmune condition I’ll have to be in medication for Life there has be more that I’m not understanding so that’s when I went back to school to study Functional Medicine Science and

really get to the root cause and and know how the body’s interconnected systems work and how to rebuild Health handedly speaking so was able to rebuild my daughter’s health and my own health and that’s what inspired me to get into the the world of Health Consulting and help other women well when Mama Bear comes out right

you’re like I I will figure this out I might not have done it for myself but I will will figure this out for my baby for sure so what made you think like you’ve got the book you’ve now got this message you’ve got this impact this Divine Direction what made you think podcasting was going to be a direction for you and

a and a tool to use it works really well for my lifestyle I do have four daughters and my husband we have a full life and a full schedule and I knew speaking was something that I enjoy and it’s a great way to get the message out in a bigger way yet I was looking for something that would require

me to be on the road and travel as much as I have in the past so looking for Avenues to have um accessible speaking on a regular basis podcasting fit the bell and it was it was perfect it was a great alignment yeah you are my sister in this space same thing right I’d been traveling as a speaker and

was just ready to you know kind of put the suitcase away and how could I still have the same impact and access and podcasting has been absolutely strategic for me so enrolled in media firestorm helping you get booked on podcast teaching you the media Firestorm strategy what are some things that you put in in the last 30 days um

some different things that you’ve been using and implementing over the last 30 days the one of the biggest thing I mean in addition to having more podcasts being recorded I mean in month it’s been one month and I’ve recorded six so it’s like just that consistency of of getting in front of new audience has been helpful but

the other key piece is the email a day I was emailing my list regularly twice a week actually but not as overt and direct with call to action to work with me and apply now here’s how I can help you and so just starting to do that every single day has been a step up in terms of really honestly

seeking clients people who are ready willing and able to invest in their health Now isn’t that funny like we go out and we do all this surveying we let we wrote the book we’re speaking we’re sharing we’re giving but we never take that next step to say come work with me we just think oh they’re gonna figure it out they’re gonna say that but

so taking that next step and actually saying here we’re open for business can be it it doesn’t seem like it’s rocket science but it does it does make such a big impact consistently getting booked on podcast congratulations six already in your first month um that’s a that’s I mean that’s Game Changer six new audiences six new hosts that you’re building relationships with and

that’s just in just in your first month so um so got booked on six podcast sent emails every day what kind of results have you seen so from the emails um that I’ve been sending over the last 30 days I’ve had 11 what I call like get acquainted conversations sales enrollment conversations and

I would say definitely a 10 if if you’re ready and willing to do the things well Amanda again we are just super excited for your results for the progress getting your message out even more um and just really what you’re doing to create a legacy what you’re The Story You’re sharing and the impact that you’re that you’re making in the world is is really valuable it’s really

important and we’re so glad that we could be a part of that thanks for being our guest today go to get that free hormone assessment with Amanda Hinman holistic.com we will put the link in the show notes um Amanda anything else you wanted to say before we before we close this off today no it’s been great angel I just I I really appreciate the way that you

and your team are checking in and you know really supportive to allow all of your clients to succeed well thank you thank you so much well this has been another case study with an amazing result with Amanda Hinman truly check her out follow her buy her book check out that free assessment and

definitely I am just located just outside of Chicago Illinois and I specialize in helping women over 40 to optimize their Hormone Health by increasing their energy improving their mood and releasing weight permanently and um I knew I wanted to get my message out in a bigger way because last year at the end of the year I released my bestselling book the thyroid hormone

solution and it was okay how can I continue to share this um and continue to you know bring this impact to more and more women well it is timely for me for sure that is the stage of life that I’m in and and I love that there’s more conversations that it’s becoming more normal to have the conversation about hormones

and menopause and thyroid like all of that is becoming a little bit more common place so how long have you been in business I know you just published your book last year but give us a little backstory how long have you been in this space definitely well I I’ve been serving clients and supporting women for about 10 years now

🎤 Speaker 1:

well welcome back to our media Firestorm case study series my name’s Angel Tessy and I am the host and super excited to share another fantastic story for and introduce you to Stu Morris who is an incredible media Firestorm client Stu how are you doing today oh I’m really I’m really good angel thank you very much for asking pleasure to be with you I’m so excited I’m so excited you have been just sharing your journey with our media Firestorm other students and I thought it was just High time for us to get that story out to the public a little bit but before we get into that just give us a little background your name where you’re coming from and tell us a little about your business uh thank you um so I’m Stu Morris um I’m an author and a keynote speaker and a neuroplasticity educator so a good example of kind of how I introduce myself I asked the question have you ever walked into a room and forgotten why you came in all the time I specialize in teaching neuroplasticity strategies that that help strengthen cognitive function um enhance memory and boost uh cognitive Health span so you know minor memory lapses are are natural and they accumulate over time but by harnessing neuroplasticity which is the neuroscientifically proven ability of your brain to adapt and rewire itself these Solutions actually they prevent repair slow and can actually stop cognitive decline really really important stuff right really important for you to get your message out St before media Firestorm what were some things that you were doing to Market your business or how were you attracting clients before before media Firestorm well you know um the difference between you and me angel is you have 15 best Sellers and I’ve written 12 books so I’ve done a lot of research and I’ve done a lot of writing but I I couldn’t sell a book I mean Julie brought my books because she loves me and we live under the same roof kind of a thing right so 30 years she buys my books but yeah I just I wasn’t making it I I thought if you wrote a book you know someone would read it but nope they don’t you need to Market that so um that’s I came across media Firestorm on Facebook which is kind of amazing because I wasn’t in uh Facebook very often um but because of media fire storming I have a whole Facebook presence now um also it’s really narrowed down my focus like what’ you do well I wrote on dementia and I wrote on you know cognitive decline and I wrote on neuroplasticity but I didn’t have a real Focus which is something that that media Firestorm has been able to really narrow down what I do and how I can impact the world more efficiently more effectively and and for the long term leave a legacy of doing it and um it’s been life-changing media Firestorm has I I look you it has been lifechanger for me all right so so steu I mean that I mean I love hearing that obviously right um but if we’re how can we break that down like what about it has been lifechanging what um are there strategies are there systems like what about it do you think has made the biggest impact for you well there are a number of things um that made a very big impact but I I’d say I think you believed in me more than I believed in me when when I got started um you you broke down the process I mean here’s your first five emails right um this is how you write an outgoing offer um you you I mean you have sent me videos walking me through step by step that were tailored to me hey Stu this is for you this is a video on on how you do this better and you’ve really you you’ve made something that it wasn’t that it was complex it was complex but it was also I was ignorant to the fact of of the complexity of it or what to do next and you guys simplified the process you made it easy to get real Clarity on the purpose behind it um and then you were super supportive I I don’t know what other people’s lives are like I I you know I’m a small farm kid I live on the coast of California it’s just uh you know we’re just just stew St from Mel Granada right um but now I you know I’ve authored a lot of books but now I feel like an author I act like an author I I I have a lot of expertise 22 years in the emergency department I’ve worked with you know people under huge amounts of stress and I have a lot of expertise in it but now I feel like an expert because you’ve you’ve given me those self epiphanies if you will it’s uh it’s been a great ride it’s been so fun and the community is like not competitive they everyone you know kind of friendly competition but it’s um very encouraging and helpful and interactive and and you know you know what you’re doing right and what you’re doing wrong and they give great advice and just a a a a handpicked group of folks the the media Firestorm Community is it’s one in a million I don’t know I don’t know a million I don’t know a million communities but it’s a great one for sure I love it I love it well I I always tell people we only attract the very best people like they’re all just incredible and there’s just something really beautiful and you’re right the community is incredibly supportive there’s a little competitive push right just to just to encourage each other Stu what do you think now that you’ve been through and now you’ve you kind of in this space what what opportunities or what do you think you can do now or what is it changing for you now that maybe you weren’t able to do before well that’s a really good question what’s it changing for me that I can do now that I couldn’t do before well or I was gonna say or what impact you know do you think now knowing what you know or are you gonna change anything I’m Gonna Change the World we’re gonna set on fire um well it’s it’s nice to know what I don’t know and then and then you have a you know a strategy to to learn that so that’s just half the battle right so that’s been huge um also the the ability to you know get results and get uh feedback in real time almost I mean within a matter of moments or hours or at least a day or so um you know if you’re doing something right um and uh like like putting together a lead magnet for instance is this a good lead maget I don’t know seems good to me and but you can put it in front of an expert and then test it and then like wow you know like a hundred people in the day responded to this lead magnet so it’s that that’s a winner right that could be a winner um so it’s really broadened my perspective on what I could do I didn’t know I was struggling um with uh the you know like a a fraud right this what do they call that impostor syndrome maybe I’m having a neuroplasticity moment right there yep I didn’t know I was suffering from impostor syndrome I I’m not an imposter I’ve done thousands of hours probably of research but I didn’t feel like uh I could deliver it very well or it just was you know it’s just new and foreign to you and you just someone just kind of needs to smack you in the back of the head sometimes and say dude you got this go you run run you know and that’s that’s that’s uh you said that on um on the exclusive monthly interview that you did um just last week or so um you said oh do it now don’t wait till you’ve built it don’t wa you’ll you’ll get it you’ll you’ll Build It Go go but do now and I man I just I just embraced that and and you know doing something it makes you so much better at it then you can you can think about something you can study it you can ruminate on it you can write it down but when you do you get better and that’s been a game changer for me steu why do you think now it’s working for you right I mean you’ve got all these years of experience you are incredibly talented and and educated and wise why do you think now it’s finally clicked for you is that it there’s there’s no more things you want to add to that thank you for that um um I think now I don’t know you know I started school when I was 18 I finished when I was 32 so when you’re in school you’re thinking about school and you’re really in the middle of all that and then I had four kids and I didn’t want to go to work and then come home and you know give my kids kind of like the second best so I took them to school every morning you know your kids they’re like uh how was school today oh fine but you get them in the car and they won’t shut up and it’s the best way would sing songs and stuff I mean that time with my kids I never get back and and at the same time I worked in the emergency medicine I also built um you know memory care and dementia facilities and that kind of came from my grandma who had my nana had dementia and and just dismantled her and I was a little kid and it just it stuck with me I wanted to fix that in people and I was busy I was busy doing that and so now the kids are you know the kids got older I didn’t but the kids the kids moved out of the house and went to school got married right they’ve grown up but I haven’t aged today I’ve been called Peter Pan a lot in my life and I’m okay with that by the way um but you know I just I had time to kind of focus on something else and I loved to write that was my first kind of passion in school for sure and so I my Nana said I was probably five six years old my D said you should write a book and I so you know I did cray my first book was in cran but but I you know I wrote a few books and and nobody really read them and I thought that’s okay you I’ve got all this work to do and and stuff and so it was n um it was a new chapter in my life and it was just a way to kind of do something new and focus on something new and that was kind of the the Genesis of it um but then when I started it I was excited about it and I was lost in doing it so it was me a firestorm that really kind of honed that skill set um and helped me you know with marketing and things like that you write the best book in the world but if nobody knows about it no one’s going to read it and there’s no not GNA be any impact so things like that that I didn’t that I didn’t know right and you guys have just taken me by the hand and walked me through that media Firestorm has been instrumental in that as far as if there’s any success I have it’s largely due to Media Firestorm for sure oh my gosh thank you stu um is there anything else any story any strategy or anything else you want to make sure that we cover and share during this time together oh gosh you you asked me that question and I you know I want to go through neuroplasticity solutions to boost cognitive Health span so do I have something to say go ahead and sit [Laughter] down um but specifically you know what media Firestorm has done for me and my business is it’s really made it a business it’s made something that I had a passion for and I was like you know like you say I was well versed in um and it’s made it something that uh is I you know I’m I’m look I’m looking I’m I’m looking for a very special buyer to purchase my Care Homes because I don’t want anyone running them because I I mean I know those folks I know their birthdays I know when they were in the service I mean I know what they like for breakfast so I don’t want anyone buying in my care home but I’m ready to transition out of that and that’s been you know a profitable Business Center for us and and it’s a it’s time for a new chapter I’ve been doing that for 25 years been helping people with dementia and Memory Care um issues and their families so it’s um it’s exciting for me it’s exciting to be able to move on for that and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you because there’s there’s nobody that seems to me that takes the time to kind of train you on these things that you need to know in order to run your business I mean I know I know how to run a care home but I don’t know how to run a media kind of a thing or or build a community which is that’s that’s like foremost on my list I’m so excited about having a community of people that are are are becoming stronger cognitively oh and we’re excited to help you pull that together there Stu all right so talk about you and your program your call to action how do people connect with you where do where where 🎤 Speaker 1:
Hey, it’s Angel Tuccy from Media Firestorm and we have another incredible case study interview for you today with Dan Schneider. Dan, how are you doing?

🎤 Speaker 1:
I’m doing really well today, Angel. Thanks.

🎤 Speaker 2:
You’re doing really well today. I love it. Dan, uh, give us a little bit of background, who you are, where you’re from, and how you serve your clients.

🎤 Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I live in Asheville, North Carolina. I’ve got two cats in the house that are put away right now, so they’re not going to join us for this meeting. And I know and two kids who are at school right now. And yeah, I work from home.

I’m a couples and individual therapist. And so I’m I’m licensed in a few different states. So I get to talk to people from different parts of the country and go deep with them about their relationships and help them to shift their intimacy from conflict to connection. And I love doing that.

And I’ve been partnering with Media Firestorm for about two months now and going on lots of podcasts, working on my email marketing and and learning a lot of skills about growing my business that uh I didn’t have before. .

🎤 Speaker 2:
I love it. Dan, what states are you licensed to work in?

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah, North Carolina, Florida, Colorado, and Illinois. So that’s working backwards from where I’ve moved. I started in Illinois and and ended up here in North Carolina. So, anybody in those four states is able to uh work with me directly as a therapist. And then in a in a new program that I’m offering and and have been partnering with Media Firestorm to promote, uh it’s an educational program that’s available to anybody. They don’t have to be in one of those places.

🎤 Speaker 2:

Oh, well that’s nice. Like we’re expanding. I was like I’ve lived in two of those states. Um and my husband lived in Illinois.

We’ve just now we’ve like we have three out of them. Uh three out of your four that we’ve lived in as well. Okay. So Dan, let’s think about I know you’ve been in Media Firestorm enrolled a couple of months ago, but prior prior to this um what were you doing with your business? How were you growing your business? Where were you finding your clients before you met us? .

🎤 Speaker 1:

So like I said, it’s an all online business. So, as I’ve moved different states, I’ve um been able to work with people just in those places and primarily getting clients referred to me through their insurance benefits. So, insurancebased clients, which is, you know, good news, bad news. It’s a very steady referral source.

There’s no shortage of people that are looking for a good therapist and want to use their insurance benefits for it. Um the downsides are that you have to uh deal with insurance companies and you can’t really negotiate your rates. So no matter how good a therapist I am or how much value I provide, the insurance company has really a set limit for how they reimburse. .

🎤 Speaker 2:
So that’s limiting. And then also the the types of clients that you work with. Sometimes the um the motivation for how hard they want to work in sessions is is different because it’s kind of an endless benefit through their insurance company rather than you know they are choosing to work with me and they want to you know set aside time commitment and and money to pay for you know really expert help. Um so yeah so I was getting clients primarily through uh their insurance benefits.

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah. Right. What a I mean it sounds good, right? Somebody else is bringing you clients, but there is a there is another side to it as well. Dan, what was your motivation to find another um you know to reach out to Media Firestorm and to enroll in Media Firestorm? Was it simply the the fact that you couldn’t charge any different or was there something else?

🎤 Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, I will say that actually Media Firestorm reached out to me. So, they they they found me somehow. So, I got an email which uh uh came at the the right time because uh for a few years I had been trying different ways to grow my business.

Not my skill set, not what I learned in school. Um and not my favorite thing to do to work on my business probably because I didn’t have help. I didn’t really ask for help or know how to do it. Um and so had tried different things.

Had tried paying for Google ads. uh had tried posting on Instagram and building a presence there. Um saw limited success with those things. Um and in the last year I wrote an ebook which I wanted to to sell cuz it I thought was really good and got great feedback from my clients um but wasn’t really getting people visiting my site or uh finding it the way that I wanted them to.

So yeah, I got this email from Media Firestorm about um being interviewed on podcasts, which to me sounded great because if I have an hour to talk about what I do and really connect with listeners, uh that’s so much better than trying to in three sentences in a Google ad or try to creatively make a infographic in Canva, which doesn’t come naturally to me. Um, that sounded like a great way for me to talk to the people that I want to work with. So, that was the the initial hook. Um, and then I got on a sales call.

Still wasn’t sure. Uh, and got on a call with Jamie, um, who’s one of your partners and has tons of energy and really good ideas and, um, kind of helped me to learn more about Media Firestorm. And so, uh, yeah, I I saw the benefit of not just getting on podcasts, but also partnering with professionals that could help me with my email marketing and, um, building better systems to bring in more people. .

🎤 Speaker 1:
I’ll tell you, I love the idea of podcasting as well for the same reason as you, Dan, right? You just you really get to share the thing you’re most passionate about and you get to connect with an audience on a much deeper level than any other platform will allow you. Well, in the couple of months, what would you say is the tool, strategy, or or technique that you have found to be the most valuable out of Media Firestorm?

🎤 Speaker 2:

Yeah. So, uh I fully believe that I’m going to get lots of people that want to work with me through the podcasts. That hasn’t happened yet because only a couple of the podcast interviews that I’ve done have actually like gone live and are out there. Um, so I believe that that’s going to happen.

Um, but so far in these couple months, the biggest thing that has changed for me is that I am sending more frequent emails. I’m sending better emails to my list. Um, and so I’m getting more people replying to those emails, telling me that they’re reading them. And so just greater engagement that way.

Um, and so that’s been a big tangible thing where I’m seeing more people visiting my site and engaging with me from my email marketing. I know we we took a look at your your leads the other day and it’s nice to have the the record to keep to keep track of that. And then I know like we are still waiting for some of those podcast interviews. How many interviews have you done? I know only a couple have been released, but how many have you actually recorded so far? .

🎤 Speaker 1:
That’s a great Well, so let me pull up my my tracking spreadsheet. A lot of what Media Firestorm does too is like you’ve given me systems where I kept telling myself I was going to work on things and work on my business, but spending the money and having the partners to keep me accountable has made a huge difference. So, so far I’ve applied to be on 73 podcasts. I’ve been accepted to 30 podcasts and I’ve recorded nine.

🎤 Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. So, you’ve only recorded nine. A couple have um a couple have been released, but you’ve got 30 that um that have been accepted.

So, there’s a lot there’s a lot happening in the works. So, we’ll have to do this again in a couple in a couple of months for you, Dan. So, right now, it’s all about creating systems. It’s leveraging your email.

It’s getting booked on podcasts. It’s making sure your messaging is landing. Um what’s been your biggest breakthrough or takeaway? Is it is it having the systems or is there something else? Uh well the systems are really helpful. I’d say the biggest change for me has really been the mindset of um what I do is really valuable and I believe that I’m really good at it.

Not just because I believe that I’m really good at it, but I get great feedback. People want to work with me. I get referrals and people stay with me for a long time. And I I know that I’m making a huge difference in people’s lives.

And so the mindset shift for me has been um how do I grow that to help more people and how do I um put a price tag on the value uh for what I’m providing which is weird for me a little bit as a therapist because I want to help people and putting a value on that is a little tricky but at the same time like I want to help people in the best way possible and there is a a tool for um you know how to connect money with value And so media firestorms helped me to um to put that together differently. .

🎤 Speaker 1:

You definitely are. You’re making a huge impact and protecting the the family dynamics and the the marriage relationships. I mean, there’s a ripple effect, you know, with the families and families affect communities, communities, right? I mean, it is. And so, it starts with it starts I think so often we think a man and a wife, it’s just us.

I’m like, oh no, right? There’s there’s something even greater. So Dan, tell us a little bit about who you work with, how you work with them, and if anybody was listening to you, and knows a couple that needs to have that greater connection, how would they connect with you? Yeah, so my website is the intimacyshift.com or intimacyshift.com. I grabbed both domains just in case. And there you can drop your email and right away get a proven tool that I developed to help you in your relationship have more fun, healthy, and connected conversations with your partner.

Um, primarily the people that I work with are people that are in relationships and that are struggling with either their emotional intimacy or their physical intimacy or their physical intimacy and usually both. Um, and I call the program that I developed the intimacy shift because there are in the course of a relationship a lot of times that things shift and change. Could be you’re a young parent and wow, our relationship is different now that we have kids. It could be that we’re getting older and our bodies have changed and we’re noticing differences in our desire and our connection at that point in life.

Um, but primarily I’m working with people that are in relationships and want for them to feel more juicy, more loving, and more connected. And so I developed this 12-week program that blends all of the work that I do with couples and with individuals on relationships to help them learn the skills and practices to actually have that kind of relationship because it can get better if we’re using tools and skills. Um they’re just not tools and skills that I learned in school or that you know any of us really were taught. Um and so that’s what I’m providing. .

🎤 Speaker 2:

I love it. What would you tell somebody who is on the fence about joining Media Firestorm um who’s unsure about taking that next step? Would you recommend us to others or do you have a personal story that shares the value you’ve received so far? Yeah, I’ I’d recommend if somebody’s on the fence that you schedule a call and ask to learn more about and kind of see what all is happening because from the emails that I was getting and even from that first sales call, um, I didn’t really know everything that was happening. I knew about the podcast booking, um, but I didn’t know I was going to get one-on-one coaching. I didn’t know I was going to get, you know, group coaching and that um not only was I going to be booked on podcast, but I would get support for my email marketing, building out my website.

Um so I’ve gotten much more value and support than I initially thought. Um and that shouldn’t be a secret. So if if somebody’s on the fence, they should ask more questions. .

🎤 Speaker 1:

I love it. I love it. Right. And sometimes, right, it comes in and and it is a surprise.

So, so often people are just focused on getting booked on podcasts, but there’s so many other other benefits to it. So, thank you for bringing that up. The intimacy shift.com is how you can get in touch with Dan. Thank you so much for being a part of Media Firestorm and taking time to just share your experience with us here today and share it with others.

🎤 Speaker 1:

Well, welcome back to another Media Firestorm case study where I get the honor and privilege of bringing one of our fabulous clients over to you so you can learn about her experience with Media Firestorm. My name is Angel Tuccy. You can find us. We are the founders of the Need a Guest community.

So, if you are looking for opportunities to leverage the power of podcast interviews to grow your business, check us out over at needag guest.com. I have the the honor and pleasure of bringing to you Janae Plet and talking about her journey with Media Firestorm. Jana, how long ago did you enroll in Media Firestorm? Maybe about a month and a half ago. About a month and a half ago.

All right. So, we’re about a month and a half in. Go ahead and introduce yourself. Tell us where you’re coming from and tell our audience a little bit about your business and what you do.

Yeah. Um, so I am a former healthc care lawyer turned sex and intimacy educator and coach. I’ve been doing that for 15 years. It happened because I was in a sexless marriage for 26 years and then did my own personal healing journey and decided just to transition my entire life and my entire career which has been amazing.

Um I am located in Asheville, North Carolina and um I at the moment primarily work with couples who are in sexless marriages or really having very serious intimacy um and relationship issues. Uh, and I run intensive retreats over a 4-day period, um, where we really get down into the weeds, if you will, um, and work through their specific issues in a very interactive, experiential way. Wow. Wow.

What a huge transition. And I mean, I know that was your journey and your experience, but did you ever imagine that there would be such demand for for this for this service? No, not really. I mean, I, you know, in retrospect, it’s like, oh yeah, there’s so many people living in sexless marriages. It’s like incredibly common.

Um, but it was, you know, when I was going through it, it just it wasn’t something that was really spoken about. There weren’t coaches. There were sex therapists, but this is like a whole different environment in the last, you know, since I started in the last 15 years. It’s really expanded, which is fantastic.

Yeah. Okay. So before enrolling in Media Firestorm, which really was not that long ago, what were you doing to grow your business? What were you doing for marketing? What was working for you? Yeah. So, uh, I was in this weird situation where I didn’t have to do very much.

Um, I basically just spent, you know, $600, $700 a month on Google ads. Um, and those Google ads were basically filling my retreats, both my private retreats and I also do international retreats as well. And they were doing great. I mean, I’ve done this for like three and a half years, four years.

Um, and it had been very, very successful for me. And I didn’t really, you know, I had a newsletter that went out once a week. Um, uh, and that was basically all that I really had to do. It was, it was amazing.

Life was great. Life was great. So, if it was going so well, what made you want to implement another strategy? Um well that strategy like many you know other marketing strategies started to not be very successful like for for reasons that nobody really can understand. Um nobody on my marketing team understands it.

You know Google changed their algorithm you know AI like who knows. Um but it just started being not that successful. So, while I still do Google advertising and I’m actually now really starting to track it, it’s still hard to know really, you know, how well the ads are actually doing in the visibility piece. Um, I was like, well, this isn’t good.

I haven’t I haven’t booked a clients in a couple of months, and now I’m looking at my calendar, which is usually booked out six months in advance, and it’s not even booked out two months in advance. So, I was kind of like in a crisis mode and, you know, spinning my wheels trying to figure out was what was going on. Um, and I didn’t I didn’t know what to do, but I knew I had to do something. And so, how did you find us? How do how did we connect? I don’t even know the answer to that question, Angel.

Like, somehow an email of yours showed up in my inbox. Um, which is weird because I didn’t know anything about you guys, but it just kind of somehow the universe was like this. Um, literally that’s that’s what I remember. Maybe like an affiliate of yours who I’m on a list with.

You I don’t know. You don’t know. But but it was the universe brought us together. The universe brought us together.

And so in the last in the last month and a half, what strategies what have you implemented or what have you learned from from you know the media firestorm strategy? What have you implemented? What are you doing differently to to grow your business? Oh, so much. First of all, I’m working really hard, which is both great, but also like I’m working really hard. I was kind of in semi-retirement before. Um, but um so I’ve been um well, one of the things I learned, one of the great lessons I’ve learned um from you and Jamie is like in order for people to know that you’re open, you actually have to let people that you’re open 24 hours a day.

And so as much resistance as I had to like actually starting to send out daily emails, um I’ve actually implemented and I don’t I don’t send them out daily. I do like five a week. Um and I think that’s fair, right? Five a week. That’s Yeah, for sure.

Right. and I take, you know, um and then, you know, while I lost, you know, maybe a hundred people on my list, um out of 3,000 active subscribers, um everybody else has stayed, which has been, you know, really amazing for me. Um and the open rate’s still really good and and that’s been helpful. I I have a hard time tracking how much business has come in from that, but I know that people are much more aware of what I’m doing.

Um, and I think that’s been useful as especially as I’m trying to fill some of my international retreats because I can see they keep on opening the email over and over and over again. I’m like, “Oh, you’re somebody who’s interested.” Yeah, clearly. Um, and I need to follow up with you, you know, personally or um, you know, just reach out. So, I’ve been doing that.

Um, and I’ve also enjoyed like the creativity around it, you know, like um, creatively writing different emails, writing story emails, talking more about my own personal relationship with my partner or whatever challenges I’m going through. So, just being like more open and vulnerable. Uh, and I’ve enjoyed doing that. And, you know, I I’ll be honest like I work with chat GPT.

We have a very good working relationship and my you know clients and customers all feel like the emails are actually coming from me because it it writes in my voice. Um then um I’ve obviously been applying for a lot of podcasts and recording podcasts. Um and I’ve loved that. That’s been probably and that’s really what I was more interested in when I found out about this.

like I was much more sold on the like book on I think I’m doing a 100 podcasts book on 100 podcasts right um rather than like the daily emails which I’m like um uh and that’s been a ton of fun um I just enjoy meeting really interesting people hosts are great I’ve had a great great response from my pitches and they’re getting better by the day I I start start to have like some emails that go out that I’m like Oh, I like this. This seems to be working, right? We do. We get we get just a little bit better every day. And so, a couple things, right? Number one, what you came to us for was getting booked on podcast.

That was the the carrot, right? The exciting shiny thing, which is working. You’ve been um how many podcasts have you um been booked on so far since enrolling? Do you know approximately? Yeah, something like maybe 37 or 30. Oh my gosh. Wow.

Right. Okay. I haven’t I haven’t recorded them all. recorded, right? Because it takes a minute and we really only want you we don’t want this to overwhelm your life.

You know, two interviews a week, so over over, you know, a month and a half, that would be, you know, 8 to 10. So, if we, you know, if it worked out perfectly, it doesn’t always scale up exactly, but 37 booked is was is quite exciting and exactly what you came for. the additional bonus is opening up your store, sending out those those emails. And I know a lot of people worry about the unsubscribes, but they weren’t going to buy anyways, right? It really does it does highlight who your people who your buyers are, your potential buyers, who the people that are interested in in really working with you.

And I would love for you to track, right, how many how many calls we’re booking, right? And how many people and we can talk about we can talk about that. I love that. So, did you have any doubts, you know, in enrolling when before you signed up with us? Were there any fears about about enrolling in Media Firestorm? Didn’t um I I you know, uh when my book came out in 2018, I did a lot of podcasts and I knew that I had I got a lot of really good um I got clients from it. I got good leads from it.

Um, so I knew that doing podcasts it was something that would be um, probably a good idea for me. And I have a new book coming out in March. So I already in my mind, you know, when I when I found out about this, I was like, “Oh, well, this is a no-brainer. I’ve got a I’ve got a new book coming out in March, and I’m going to be doing this anyway, and this way I can develop relationships.” Um, before the book comes out, my publisher was thrilled like, “Oh, you’re going to be doing all these podcasts and blah blah blah, right?” And so it it was just like it was almost like yeah this makes total total sense for me.

I I really didn’t have um any any doubts about it. I think that for me like one of the added benefits that I didn’t expect was like the calls with Jamie which have been really helpful like reworking my lead mag like there’s I’ve done a lot. I’ve redone my homepage. Um I’ve reworked my lead magnet.

I try different lead magnets like just really, you know, trying and then tracking like, oh, this is what’s getting people’s attention, right? Like there I’ve learned so many tools and tricks that I’ve been using um in my, you know, in my podcast that I’ve been doing and in my marketing and that, you know, I think has been really useful for me. I’ve learned a lot. Yeah, those those coaching sessions with Jamie are are incredible. And he hosts he hosts them every other week.

So twice a month you get to plug in to a coaching session with Jamie. He brings a lot of skill set when it comes to tracking technology, sales, copywriting, and and it’s just bonus, right, that you guys get that that access. So thanks for thanks for bringing that up because it is it is an added an added extra that a lot of our clients brag about and rave about those those sessions. He’ll he’ll test you for sure, right? And you know, a lot of times we’re just doing things that we’ve always done, but but if it’s not getting the results we’re looking for, and he’s really good about making sure that we’re focused in on the activities that are that are bringing bringing those results.

What would you say, Jana, uh to somebody who’s thinking about enrolling in in Media Firestorm and they’re kind of on the fence? Is there any advice or any any tips you want to give them? Yeah, I mean, I I would just like use a Nike line. Just do it. Like I think there’s no downside to it as long as you’re um as long as you’re intentional, as long as you’re focused, and as long um as you know, you’re committed to it. I think that’s um I think it’s a great program.

I’ve um I’ve talked to some other people about like, hey, I think you should, you know, maybe consider this program. Uh I think it’s I’, you know, I’ve done a lot of I’ve done a lot of marketing programs. I’ve done a lot of business development programs. I’ve spent thousands, tens of thousands of dollars in marketing and SEO.

Um, and I think this has been one of the best, you know, investments that um, I’ve I’ve ever made. And I don’t say that lightly. Well, thank you for that. Thank you.

Thank you. I got that recorded, right? I got that. Yes, you have that. You have that on my recording.

All right, Chené, I know you I know you led and we opened up with how you serve your clients and how people work with you, but let’s just wrap that up again. How do you serve your clients and what’s the best way for them to connect with you? Yeah. So, um I primarily work with couples who are in sexless marriages or are having significant intimacy and relationship challenges. Um and I serve them by offering a different approach than most therapists, family therapists, couples counselors, even sex therapists do, which you know, their approach is like talkbased.

We’re going to talk about this. I’m going to have you read a book. you’re going to come in and we’re going to talk and then maybe I’ll send you with home with homework. But that’s not really effective when it comes to intimacy because for for you to be able to really um improve your sex life and intimacy, you have to have a felt sense of each other, felt sense of each other, a very embodied sense of each other.

And that’s what my work is. It’s very experiential. It’s very interactive. You get to feel what it’s like to be vulnerable with your partner in your body as you’re experiencing vulnerability.

You get to feel what it’s like to build erotic energy in your partner um as that’s happening. And I think that’s one of the reasons that my retreats are like, you know, I have like a 90% success rate, which is very very high success rate, especially in this area. And the changes that occur like all the time. I just had a couple here last weekend, Angel, who came to me.

They were basically in a sexless marriage. They’re pretty young. They’re in their late 30s. Um, and by the time they left, things had completely shifted, not only in their physical relationship, but in their ability to be able to to talk with each other honestly and authentically about what their experience was and what their feelings were and to be able to repair some of the past hurts and burdens.

Um, and that happens all the time. That is not, oh, you know, that’s a a once in a year thing. was like, “No, that pretty much 90% of my couples that is exactly what happens.” Um, and so it’s just a very unique experience that I offer. And then I also offer group retreats.

I offer a group retreat for women, a central awakening retreat once a year. Uh, this one is going to be in February in Costa Rica and a group couples um passion in paradise retreat also in Costa Rica once a year as well. So do all of that. How much fun? How much fun for you to get to see the the dramatic shift in change and you’re saving relationships, right? And if you can save relationships, you can save the world.

And so, you are definitely, you know, just a a gift, a gift to humanity. I’m so excited that we found our way to each other. The universe brought us together. Chené, how do we connect with you? How do we follow up with you? Um, you can reach me on my website which is passionate intimacy retreats that’s with an s.com.

And then I guess I’ll offer this to everybody who listens. I have a free gift as well um which is a free video class on 20 minutes to to have better sex. It’s like seven three minute videos that are very very helpful tips and you can find those at um how toimprovemy lovelife.com. How to improvemy lovelife.com.

I love that. Well, you know somebody who wants to improve their love life, like we always want to get better, right? How to improvemyloife.com. Go grab that free gift and then learn more if it if you or somebody you know needs to have a stronger relationship with their mate. Passionate retreats.com.

Chen, thanks so much for being with us today. I appreciate you for taking the time out to share your journey with strangers, right, and with the world. But truly what you are doing is is incredibly beautiful and you can see why she’s such a popular guest, right? People want to talk about relationships. And and we have the rock star right here. Thanks so much. Thank you, Angel. All right.

🎤 Speaker 1:
All right. Super excited to have this conversation with SS Culture, a media firestorm client who came in with no list, no leads. I don’t even know that you had an offer and and yet you have hit the ground running and seen some incredible results. So yeah, do you want to just kind of give you a little story, a little background of where you were when you started or what you were doing before and what’s been happening?

🎤 Speaker 1:

Totally. So uh I joined I think the end of April, beginning of May and um I have been working on a company off and on for 17 years. Okay. And I kind of put it to bed and then brought it back um and ready to run in April.

And a friend of mine introduced me to Need a Guest because I was like, “Okay, I guess I need to actually start going and putting myself out there.” And I think that’s a huge deal for a lot of business owners. We really like to do all the stuff behind the scenes, but then when it’s time to go and u market it, we’re like, so it’s it’s a little like, you know, a little intimidating, but I had decided, okay, it’s time. I’m really passionate about this, and so I I’ll start going on podcast. Well, I had no idea where to start.

And so, a friend of mine was in the Need a Guest Facebook um group, and so I just posted in there. And then because I did, I think because you guys got me in there, I got started getting emails from you and they worked. I was like, “Oh, this is interesting.” Right. Um, so everybody they’re telling you it works.

So I ended up reaching out to Jeannie or Jeannie reached out to me and we talked and I was like, “Well, listen, I’m not right for this. I don’t have a list. I’m not selling like a high ticket thing and I I probably never will.” But she’s like, “Hey, but don’t you you know need help getting into podcasts and I I have an app coming out. Don’t you need people behind that?” And I’m like, well, I do.

And so, the biggest thing that’s been for me is that you guys have the directory. The directory is a huge thing because I can go in and type like, hey, this is what I’m going after. And and and you’re going to see so many podcasts that you didn’t know existed. Like that like was very big for me.

And you’ll notice that some things that might be in business, it’s listed as business, but that might be for you. Like people have it in different ways. So you get this snapshot of all this stuff and you can read who the people want and sometimes you’ll be like, “Oh my gosh, that’s me.” And something that you’d never thought you would go on, right? So I was like, “Oh, I have that story. I could go say that.” So anyway, I had a goal of getting on two podcasts a week.

And what I did is I just went in and I was really nervous at first because, okay, so I’m going to go back to this. I hadn’t wanted to be in front of people. And when I talk to you, um, and Jamie said this, too. These are people as well, .

🎤 Speaker 2:

okay? These are just people. Um, they’re they’re nice people. They’re doing what you’re doing. So, just get out there and talk to them.

So, what I did, and I really suggest this to people. Getting rejected stinks. Like, no one’s like, “Oh, I got rejected today.” So, what I ended up doing is I went out and I put the directory on the Calendarly links one. So, because my my um company was is very family focused, but I’ll get into that in a minute.

I went to family parenting and I just put that in there and I said Calendarly links and I just signed up if I was right for it. I mean, there was a couple I wasn’t right for. I literally got on their calendarly. I was like, “Whatever.

I’m just going to go on that.” And I ended up I wrote it down in 60 days. I was on I had 30 I have 34 booked. I’ve been on 26 and 10 have already aired. .

🎤 Speaker 1:
Oh my Wait, what? What? In 60 days.

🎤 Speaker 2:

60 days. I mean, I guess I started in June. So June. Yeah.

So like 60 days in the program. So I say 60 days of doing this, right? I didn’t do it on weekends and I went on vacation a couple times, but 60 days. Yeah. .

🎤 Speaker 1:
34 booked.

🎤 Speaker 2:
34 booked on 26. 10 have aired.

🎤 Speaker 1:
Oh my gosh. 26ed and 10 have aired. Okay.

🎤 Speaker 2:

Yeah. So like so this is what August 20th. So I started this program met with you in the beginning of May and then I I got my stuff together and then I started like end of May and I just I literally I went on calendar and then I booked interviews. I filled out applications.

I will say the emails are the hardest ones because people I don’t think get back to you a lot of time. I don’t think a lot of it is a rejection. I think like my email box is full. So, I would suggest to people to do that because the first I want to say the first 10 I was on I was freaking out.

I was like, “Oh my gosh, what am I going to do?” Right? Totally freaking out. And but what I would do is I would go to the person’s podcast. I would listen to it and I would see how they were and I’d be like, “Oh, I can tell the story cuz they typically have the same way that they interview people.” And I’d go in and I felt like I know them. And we would just talk.

And as I was doing that, this is what was so brilliant. As I was doing that, I was honing in my message. I was getting more and more comfortable with sharing it. And it taught me more about my business.

And since coming into this, I now coach I have a coaching program and I’m starting my own podcast. And my app is almost developed because it just pushed me. And because you guys have the get, what is it? Get um I should know I posted it every day. Get booked, get paid.

I’m not sending out emails, but I was very accountable to that. So every day I made sure I was I was at least applying for a podcast because I was accountable to the group. .

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah, I saw you every day you showed up without fail.

🎤 Speaker 2:
Yeah, I just

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah, you did. But you didn’t have a list. So even though in Media Firetorm we have a two-pronged approach, go and get booked on podcast and then send emails to book sales calls because you didn’t have the list. you went all in on on the podcast booking, but then you also were able to circumvent actually enrolling people into your program as well.

🎤 Speaker 2:
Yes. Right. So, anyway, so as I was doing this, as I was talking to people about what I’m what my my offer is, what my company is, they actually helped me kind of come up with more things that that people needed that they wanted. And that as I was developing, that’s became my pilot coaching program. So, just to give you an idea of what I do, I empower parents to help their kids get off screens. As I’ve been going and talking to people about this, they said, “What about adults?”

🎤 Speaker 1:
And I said, “Oh my gosh, you’re right.” So, now I have a coaching class called Break the Chain to help people be more intentional about when they’re on their screens because if I’m going to get kids off, I got to get

🎤 Speaker 2:
got

🎤 Speaker 1:
And so, what I did is I developed a pilot program that starts in September. And I just started picking up my phone and literally calling everybody that I know in my phone. And it it has been awesome because I’m going on and even if they say no, I’m having a wonderful conversation with somebody I know and I’m learning from them what they would want to be in the program. You know, they’re and so when I talk to people who who sign up, they’re telling me their stories and then I have their stories to tell the next person.

🎤 Speaker 2:
Yeah. Right. They’re telling you what they would need, what they are looking for. So you’re getting all the research and all the data in all these conversations.

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yes.

🎤 Speaker 2:
Oh, this is so powerful. This is like a lesson in how to build your business 101.

🎤 Speaker 1:

Yeah. And and it’s and it’s the whole thing about it is and I think a lot of people I know a lot of people if you’re going to be an entrepreneur, you’re probably some part of you is a perfectionist. I mean that you kind of the two kind of go together. This was really hard for me because I’m like I’m not perfect.

It does not matter because nobody you’re talking to is perfect because nobody’s perfect. like there’s nobody in the world who’s perfect. So, as I’m going out and doing this, I’m like, I am getting better and better at it. And um you you go on these podcasts and and you get to go back if you want to and watch yourself and you’ll be able to figure out like, oh, I need to do this differently or that was really good.

And it’s all just learning. And I think that’s been the biggest thing for me is it’s just learning. So, .

🎤 Speaker 2:

learning. Okay. Well, this is fantastic. I am super excited.

Okay. So, you have an incredible program. You have an incredible offer that didn’t exist. .

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah.

🎤 Speaker 2:
Oh, just a few months ago, but you picked up the phone, started taking action, you picked up the calendar, started started getting booked right away. And that’s one of the things that I think is super exciting for Media Firem. There’s a lot of programs out there that it takes a long time before you actually start getting booked. But you can start booking podcasts immediately. Right. Immediately.

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah. Um, and we have so many clients that say they’re blown away by how easy it is to get booked on podcasts. um but then also to monetize and generate revenue and how you circumvented circumvented that whole process. So I know at the time right because we are looking for for clients who have an existing offer,

🎤 Speaker 2:
have an existing email list, right? And they’re probably already getting booked. They just want more more stages,

🎤 Speaker 1:
but yet you can you came in and you were just a a go-getter. But what would you tell someone who’s just unsure about about Media Firestorm and taking that next step? like they’re not sure that they have all the pieces in place. It’s not the right time. Like you know the typical excuses that that we all put on our ourselves.

🎤 Speaker 2:
Yeah. I would say I mean good for you if you already have those things in place. That’s really great. I if I did the the weekly or the I say it’s every other week calls with Jamie

🎤 Speaker 1:

would be incredible. I mean he did get me to get my avatar together which I didn’t have together. So that was really good. But I think it’s to me it’s the accountability.

If you’re an accountable person and you get into this group, you are going to want to show up and say, “Hey, I’m doing this.” And it will it will motivate you as you see other people doing it and going out there, it will motivate you to go out and get on stuff and and it’s like anything else you do in life. Like you went to school and you were terrified when you first went to college, but then you’re there for a little bit and then you figure it out and you graduate, you know? So like nothing you’re starting. I don’t think anybody’s comfortable with anything that’s new, but you’re you’re in a group who everybody’s doing this and sharing each other on. And I just think the other thing I’ve learned about this, like if you look at a price tag or something, you’re like, “Oh gosh, that’s so expensive.” But you’re actually investing in yourself.

And I think that’s a really good thing. And I I you do not have to be perfect to do this. You will learn from other people. And even if you just make connections in it, I think it’s it’s probably worth it.

I mean, I have made awesome connections. I didn’t even say that. I have made awesome connections through the podcasting. So, I’m going to start my own podcast because now it totally goes with my business.

I never thought I would do that like a couple months ago, but I already have podcast guests now because of these wonderful people that I’ve met. .

🎤 Speaker 2:
That is our that’s kind of our um kind of our underlying little little secret here is we we get you on as a guest, but eventually you’ll want to start your own show. So, then you become a host who needs guests. And then we have a an an infinite amount of of podcasters who who need guests, even though it’s it’s not what we let out with, but it just turns into

🎤 Speaker 1:
it turns into it.

🎤 Speaker 2:
Yes.

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah. And I and I want to say one other thing that I don’t think I said I don’t in the beginning of this, don’t pay attention. You you’ll know how you’ll learn how to do it, but don’t necessarily pay attention to how big the podcast is or that kind of stuff because you need to go out there and just get out there. Because I said the first 10 I was freaked out. Now I’m so excited to go on podcasts,

🎤 Speaker 2:

right? Like you figured it out. You got more comfortable. And we Jenny and I always say, right, the first 10 to 20, they’re they’re practice for you. You’ve got to go out and play the clubs.

And I’m with you. Even if the audience isn’t I think sometimes we’re like, I just want the big shows. I want the big shows. But you’ve got somebody who not only has a podcast, but they probably have an email list, a social media following, a client base.

like this isn’t their only only outreach is their audience. The audience is just bonus to everything else that they’ve got going on. And so I’m like you. I look for who am I having the right conversation, right? .

🎤 Speaker 1:
Who is in front of, who is, you know, where am I where am I a fit? I don’t look at those those numbers because they only tell part of the story. And

🎤 Speaker 2:

they do. And and if you’re going to talk to someone in your genre, you’re going to have an awesome conversation and meet a nice person, too. So it’s kind of a bonus. And I think you guys say this, I know a lot of things, but the the content is evergreen.

Like it stays out there forever. So even if they only have a small audience, there could be someone gosh, two years from now who sees it. It’s like, I need that. .

🎤 Speaker 1:
Yeah. Right. We just had a a client, I don’t know if you saw her, she got um somebody reached out to her from an interview she did over a year ago. And I did that becoming a client from a year ago podcast. Okay. uh tell our audience one more time um who you are, what you do and how they can connect with you.

🎤 Speaker 2:

Okay, so I am Shannon Coulter, but my pen name is Essoulter. And what I do is I empower parents to help their kids get back offline. But in doing that, so I have a a series of children’s books and I have a child a activity app coming out which I’m super excited about that will help you get your kids offline. But in the meantime, I also have a class called Break the Chain.

Dear phone, it’s not me, it’s you. And it’s it’s a program to help you become more intentional about when you’re picking up your phone so that you get your life back, too. So, if if we’re going to get kids back in the real world, we have to get back in it, too. So, it’s everything’s at ssculture.com.

So, s.com. So, everything’s out there. And I would love to have you join me because I think this is a movement where we’re going to get people looking up and at each other and smiling again. .

🎤 Speaker 1:

I love that. What an important message, right? And uh what a great platform to be sharing it in. If you know somebody who needs that message, make sure you send them to ssculture.com. Need somebody for your stage? You need a guest for your next podcast, reach out to Shannon, ssculture.com.

Shannon, we’re so grateful. We’re so excited. We’ve been We were talking about you this morning. You’re like our no list legend who has just come in and been a rock star.

You know, you always you kind of think about who’s like going to be a poster child for your programs, right? And you just see action. You’re like, did you ever think that you were going to be the poster child for media media firestorm? Because you totally turned into .

🎤 Speaker 2:
No.

🎤 Speaker 1:

So, it it it’s mind-blowing what’s gone on up here. It’s gorgeous. It’s gorgeous, but it’s mind-blowing. Yeah, I saw I saw some pictures and social posts and and stuff in the news.

Well, God bless you for getting through all of that. Brad, I want to talk a little bit about your business. I want to talk about, you know, marketing things that you were doing before you joined Media Firestorm. Okay. I’m I’m a veteran functional medicine doctor. Uh I I’m one of them people that got a 100 hats. There’s there’s not much that I haven’t done.

I’ve been all over the world doing ministry. uh um big construction background. I there’s not much that I don’t do. So I primarily make money doing functional medicine.

I’ve made it in construction trades and other things along that way. But I’ve got about 40 years of post-graduate education, functional medicine, research, clinical trials of my own. And I we run our our clinic in a way that is so unique. I I know some of the top docs in the world and they have no idea what I do.

Even though I’ve trained under them, I do what they do. They have no idea. Our results are so far beyond what most doctors can ever hope to give. Why do you think that is? Why do you have such amazing results? You like you’ve you’ve trained with all of these doctors.

I know you have an extensive background, but what’s so unique about you, Brad? Um, the way my mind works actually. It I’m a principalbased thinker and I really like to know how things function. So, when I was in grad school, I I I just fascinated in functions of things. Physiology is one of those things.

Almost every doctor of every profession when they leave their school, they they get rid of their physiology books and never look at them. I still study physiology on a regular basis weekly. Whenever something’s not going, you know, whenever I run into something new, I want to know how it works. And that’s part of it.

The other part is Lord got a hold of me in a in a huge way a long time ago and my whole life is wrapped up around the kingdom of God. He talks to me. He shows me things. He my wife is my partner and and he shows us things and he gives us ways to test those.

And when he was moving us different part of the country, people were begging us to figure out how to how to work with them at a distance. And I really didn’t have a belief system for that, but it was obvious he was going to move us. And so it’s like, okay, we got to figure this out and started doing things. We started testing people further and farther away.

And the end of our testing, we were testing people blindly. We didn’t know what they were, who they were, what they had. We do pretty complete tests. My tests are insanely [Music] um extensive.

I’ll put it that way. Mark Heyman’s a number one functional medicine doc in the world. is extensive testing is 100 tests. We’re four and a half times that.

Wow. Okay. All right. Okay.

So, we are going to do a whole interview with you about about your practice and what you do and the impact that you’re making. But today, let’s talk about marketing your company um and how you’re getting the word out, how you’re attracting clients. Um some things that you maybe were doing before you came to Media Firestorm. So, um what were you doing for marketing? What was working for you before you joined Media Firestorm? Brad, the thing that’s always worked best for me is getting in front of people and talking to them.

And there’s a bunch of different formats for that. In person is is phenomenal and great. And it’s really hard to build stages in other people’s territories and and they they do all kinds of things with that. So we’ve, you know, the webinar thing was a lot better a long time ago and that’s really fallen off.

It’s really difficult to get people to come to those. Uh started doing podcasts a few years ago and that’s been a pretty big thing. We we started our own podcast and trying to do things to to bring that up into a functional state and one of the best ways is to get on other podcasts which I worked with several different groups on doing that and everybody’s got a little piece of a puzzle but most of it’s missing key things and it’s dysfunctional like doing uh email blasts to a bunch of podcasts you you uh I don’t know you might get 10% if you’re pushing it. Oh, I think I think Brad Yeah, spamming and doing cold email outreach for podcasts, the numbers we’ve seen are closer to one per 1% actually getting booked on.

Yeah, I was going to say that at first, but you know, mine were more than that. uh you know, but I’m a unique individual with a lot of unique qualities and as you can tell, I’m not hard to talk to. And I I I’ve got such a deep well of wealth of information from years of studying multiple things that I can dovetail all that together and bring that so bring to it. So Brad, if I know you had tried you you’ve done you were doing podcasts, you were doing speaking, um you’ve tried some different programs.

What was it about Media Firestorm if you did that that made you say yes to try another group, another program? What? Say yes to us. I’m working with somebody that helped me bring my podcast up fairly quickly and it’s not working very well and they had a a thing where they’re going to do pitches and try and get you on. It was totally dysfunctional and uh it was pretty expensive side of what they’re doing. And I thought, well, I’m going to do this on my own.

And I was doing a lot better than what they’re doing. my wife’s actually I might have sent a pitch to you cuz you’re the one that reached out to me. I didn’t know you existed and all of a sudden your emails were there. So it might have been just u a chasing back of one of the pictures that I sent you.

Okay. I I I don’t know how you got a hold of me, but I looked at it and I go and I’m looking at what the the group that I’m working with is offering what you’re offering. go, well, you well, you guys make a lot more sense because costwise per per whatever you’re going to book is is a whole bunch less and some more tools. And then you look at your your things that you have in there.

Everybody’s got their little piece that works. And you had a um I forget who it is. Um is it John Deus? Yeah. Yeah.

We don’t have John Lee Dumis in our in our in our podcast directory, but we do have him in our network, right? And and he I think it was one of his pitches that you guys put and there’s some keys in there. You go, “Okay, that’s good.” And I tweaked what I was doing more of of a blast and I I got a a couple of responses from that pretty good. Now, let’s talk about let’s talk about the results. Um, how long have you been in in enrolled in Media Firestorm? Um, it’s not very long.

Not very long. It might be like two weeks, something like that. Is it? Oh my gosh. I was thinking it was a little longer, but um Okay.

So, tell me about the like what have what have you learned? What have you implemented? And what results have you gotten? Um the you know I I started doing things more off uh John Lee Dimus’s his his pitch and it was more successful. But then you had uh Kristen Kerry. She she did a post on there what she was doing. I look at that and go, you know, this this makes a whole bunch more sense.

And I took what she did, I personalized it. I tweaked it. I changed it a whole bunch. started doing her approach and [Music] um boy I I I started getting on 1% on top shows.

So how many shows have you have you been on so far? How many shows have you booked? Wow. I’ I’ve got three shows this week. There at least three shows last week, at least two before. I got several up in the front.

I’ve been on uh Yes. Yeah, it was yesterday. was on TV show. Uh we did another one that’s probably going to go on TV later.

I just booked another TV show I think before I went to bed last night. I I’m looking for bigger shows that have a bigger reach. And the thing that’s really interesting is every show I’ve been on from a small one to big one, I’ve always been one of their favorite guests with some of the biggest downloads and the biggest reactions simply because I I’ve got a lot of content. Uh I’m I’m not arrogant like most docs are.

Uh I can be absolutely totally Raleigh vulnerable, which docs don’t ever do that. Yeah. Now, you’re very real and very easy, very easy to talk to and you don’t come across as, you know, you do know it all, but you don’t come across as as knowing more than than everybody. Um, but I want to get back to right the the media firestorm.

Um, did you have any doubts about enrolling with us? Well, there’s always doubts for all kinds of different things and I’m not an emotional buyer. I’m not an emotional decision maker. I I just don’t do that. So when something comes, I get what information I can and I literally lay it out before the Lord.

Get on my face and it’s what do you want me to do with something like this? It doesn’t matter whether it makes sense or not necessarily. He’s had me invest more in marketing in the first quarter of this year than I’ve ever done ever when there’s not a whole bunch coming in just because it, you know, sometimes it’s time. We had to hide for a long time. And that reason that curtain is lifted and I’m able to go out and just poke my head up, you know, it’s like a periscope up out of the sea to see what’s going on.

And he’s he’s allowing me to do that and in a different way. And he’s finally starting to bless that in greater ways. I love that. I love that.

And so, yeah, you’ve you’ve never invested this much in marketing before, but feel like there’s a calling to do that um right now. How are you feeling now that you’ve been in the process? You’ve started to see some results. You’ve had a few shifts in your process. What does this mean for you going forward, Brad? What is this going to how is this going to open up doors or help you to hit the goals that you set set for yourself? Uh the the real issue is uh I’ve shifted everything, you know, like like I’ve got this extensive bio that can do all kinds of stuff, but most of the podcasters are women.

Not all of but most of them most of them are fairly sensitive, want to dialogue and all that. So my my bio shifted more to a personal vulnerable issue rather than these credentials. And I got a big background in in um copywriting and so I know how to tweak stuff quite a bit and really switch it up and play play with a lot of things. And it’s a lot of work to do this.

There’s no doubt. You you can’t shortcut it. But if you do the work, it’s productive and it’s encouraging enough to keep going to do it. I know myself I’ll I’ll I’ll put more than 100% effort into something, but if it doesn’t produce something after a while, I’m fried.

Yeah, for sure. All of us, right? And I I have seen you come in and you played full out. You’re like, I’m going all in. I’ve committed to it and I’ve seen you.

And that’s also where where results come, right? We’re not going to get results just to sitting on on the sidelines. Brad, I want to make sure because you’ve shared some really incredible stuff about how you serve your clients, um, how different you are, how unique you are. Let’s talk a little bit about next steps. If somebody wanted to connect with you, follow up with you, what would you what would you want them to do next? I I set up a a web page um for everybody that I’m doing stuff.

It’s hello.althfully.com. h e l t h ff u l l y the letterwu.com. On that I got a free ebook. It’s uh it’s called healing lifestyles and it’s the ep it’s the simple practical everyday things people can do to change their ep epigenetics.

Epigenetics is a study of your genes. Every gene has 30,000 potential ways to express itself and the way that you live determines how that’s going to express itself. So you can have a really negative gene like Down syndrome or the MTHFR gene. You can live life in a way where they don’t express themselves and even though the gene hasn’t changed, you have no expression of it.

So that book is phenomenal. Okay. How do we get that again? What was the website? I didn’t write it down. It’s hello.

Hello.fully. h e a l t h fu l y the letter u.com. Okay, hold on one second. I’m going to pull that up.

Make sure I’ve got it. Hello. Healthfully, the letter u.com. Yes.

Okay, I got it. All right. Fantastic. on on uh on the thank you page, you get the download of that and you get links to my website, our podcast, uh the book that I got, Exposing Lime and Chronic Illness.

Just I’ve got a ton of resources out there and people go there, they put their their email in, they’re going to get a wealth of value, I just put my absolute wealth of email in for that. So, I can’t wait to learn more um and to follow all the good stuff that that you’re sending people to. Brad, it’s been incredible to watch you just to come in. You are just you are on fire.

You um you’re seeing incredible results. You’ve you’ve you’re getting on top shows every week, two or three shows, television shows consistently, and it’s only going to it’s only going to get better. Like, this is the worst it’s ever going to be, right? Like, as we begin, and we’re learning something new, and it’s only going to get even better from here. Are there any um if somebody was thinking about enrolling in Media Firestorm and they had a little bit of doubt or wasn’t sure if this is the right next step for them, is there anything you would recommend or anything you would want to say to them? Uh yeah, it’s it’s the same thing you you say to anybody considering anything.

Not everybody is called to do the same thing. But for those things that people really want to get some fruit out of some benefit. It’s always going to take an investment. And that investment is way more than just time.

It’s energy. If if you look at, you know, we do a lot with fertility issues. You cannot help couples with fertility unless they want to do some things to change the reason why they’re not fertile. If you really need to get in front of audiences, there’s going to be work that you got to do.

It’s a It’s beautiful day and that always helps. It’s been raining for a few days. All right. It’s been raining.

It’s been raining here, too. Where are you coming from? I’m in western North Carolina. We are We We live on the edge of the worst hit county in Helen up here. So, uh, all the nightmare things that people haven’t seen on on TV and the news and all that, we’re right in the middle of all that.

I want to talk about some of the results that you’ve seen since, but before that, just give our give our audience just a little background about you and your business.

And then you look at your your things that you have in there.

Everybody’s got their little piece that works. And you had a um I forget who it is. Um is it John Deus? Yeah. Yeah.

We don’t have John Lee Dumis in our in our in our podcast directory, but we do have him in our network, right?

🎤 Speaker 1:

Welcome to another episode of a media firestorm case study where I get the honor and privilege of sharing the experience of one of our fantastic media firestorm clients. My name is Angel Tuccy. I’m the founder of the need a guest podcast community network. We have a a network full of podcast hosts and guests and we play matchmaker.

Our media firestorm program is an incredible way to build traffic and leads for your business and monetize out of those podcasts. And today we have Brad. Brad, how are you doing? I’m doing pretty well. I’m doing pretty well.

I want to talk about some of the results that you’ve seen since, but before that, just give our give our audience just a little background about you and your business.

You can’t shortcut that. But if you do, you’re going to reap the rewards of that that work. And it might not be right away, but you’re going to build a case for for things. You’re going to get a ton of exposure.

And that’s just the bottom line realities. It’s it’s there’s not a shortcut for the work, but when you have the tools to do it, it’s fruitful and it’s worthwhile doing it. Oh, Brad, thank you. Thank you so much.

We appreciate you so much. Now, follow Brad. Go and grab all of these incredible resources and share it with somebody you know that is dealing with some of these issues. Hello.fully.com.

And that u is the letter u. Hello.fullyu.com. healthfully.com. I’m Angel Tuccy.

We run the Media Firestorm program. If you’re looking to get booked on more podcasts more consistently and how to monetize those podcast interviews using short daily emails, connect with us. You can find us at needag guest.com. need guest.com.

There’s no doubt. You you can’t shortcut it. But if you do the work, it’s productive and it’s encouraging enough to keep going to do it. I know myself I’ll I’ll I’ll put more than 100% effort into something, but if it doesn’t produce something after a while, I’m fried.

I want to talk about some of the results that you’ve seen since, but before that, just give our give our audience just a little background about you and your business.

Get on my face and it’s what do you want me to do with something like this? It doesn’t matter whether it makes sense or not necessarily.
